Handmade by the womens cooperative Mujeres del barro rojo in the small Zapotec village of San Marcos Tlapazola. These oven dishes are shaped by a simple wheel and by hand. Texture and polish are created by using corn husks, leather, coconut shells and river stones. The pieces are then fired on an open flame until they get the desired colour.
Due to the handcrafted nature of these pieces, each will differ slightly.

- Care: Recommend hand wash in warm soapy water. Use of knives or sharp objects will scratch the surface. Oily items may stain. Heat may darken clay.
